Taunton Deane Morris Men will be making a return visit to the May Day event in the Wellington Park on Bank Holiday Monday, May 2.
The group, which is celebrating 42 years of dancing, will give performances of their own unique dances set to folk tunes from Somerset, together with Morris dances from the Cotswolds, accompanied by the traditional melodeon and pipe and tabor.
Mike Highfield, leader of the Morris men, said: “We are delighted to be back showing our dances at this lovely event in such an attractive setting. It is something we always look forward to.’’
For information about the group’s shows in the Wellington area in 2016, ask one of the dancers for a programme, see the What’s On section of the WWN or visit www.tauntondeanemorris.co.uk
