Couple fight for right signs on danger road

A WEST Buckland couple who own land at Whiteball near the scene of a double fatality claim two staggered junction signs on the busy A38 near the Beambridge Inn are the wrong way round – and have been for nine years.

Paul and Trina Sparks are adamant the signs at both locations, one halfway up Whiteball Village Entry/Holywell Lake and the exit road from Whiteball should have been switched long ago.

They couple say it is ‘embarrassing’ that after nearly ten years the signs are still round the wrong way.
