Party marks Edith’s 102nd birthday

By Mark Pritchett in Local People

THE 102nd birthday of Edith Robinson was marked with a special party attended by her family and friends at Camelot House and Lodge in Taunton Road, Wellington.

Edith was born in Manchester and lived in many parts of the UK before settling in Dulverton in her ‘favourite’ county of Somerset.

Edith’s earliest job was as a clerical assistant but she also did retail work working for shops such as Debenhams. Edith loved travelling around the country with her husband Cliff, who she married in 1940, in their sports car.
