WELLINGTON Rovers have held their end of season presentations for the last time as a Under 13 side.
Manager Louise King says: “The squad has been together since U7s and it’s been a pleasure coaching them all. Rovers played this season in Division One of the Taunton & District Youth League. They have enjoyed success, winning the Bishops Lydeard summer tournament U10s, winning the plate competition at U11s and winning the Fair Play award for Division One at U12s.
“I would like to all the parents for their support over the years.”
In their very last match of the season, Rovers played Bridgwater Wolves Youth in the U13 Plate Competition and drew 4-4 on grass at the Bridgwater College Academy, They went out of the competition after losing 5-3 on penalties. Rovers found it tough going in the league and finished in seventh spot.
