FORMER chairman of Wellington Museum Doug Marshall brought in this photo of crowds celebrating the end of the First World War in Wellington.

Members of the town council are pictured on the balcony of what is now Porter Dodson’s office in High Street on November 11, 1918.

Mr Marshall, who lives in St John’s Close, has collected hundreds of postcards and is the author of books about Wellington.
