A TRAMPOLINE park on the outskirts of Wellington has raised more than £2,500 for good causes following a 24-hour marathon.

Groups from around Wellington and Taunton flocked to FlipOut Somerset at Chelston Business Park for the event.

Sponsorship is still being counted but FlipOut says the figure will exceed £2,500.

Business development and marketing manager Ozzy Flowers said: “It’s fantastic that we had an opportunity to build on our previous charitable efforts, collaborating with a number of local groups to have a positive impact on our community.

“We hope this will be the first of many fundraising projects, built around our unique and exciting venue. I want to personally thank everyone involved for their incredible efforts.”

Court Fields School, Beech Grove Primary School, Taunton YMCA and African organisation LEAP will benefit from the proceeds.
