A WELLINGTON member of the team at Roadchef’s Taunton Deane Motorway Service Area on the M5 has been recognised for outstanding customer service after celebrating her 35th anniversary at the site.

Tracey Kearney, nee Bull, joined Roadchef as a member of the company’s seasonal team in 1982, before quickly being promoted as a site supervisor.

She went on to work in the retail side of the business, managing the site’s W H Smith store, before working her way to the position of retail operations manager.

However, her real passion was working among her team and she has immersed herself as a unit manager, continuing to hold this position.

Tracey, who is married to Sean and has two grown-up children, said: “It has been a joy to be part of the Roadchef team for so long.

“It is a fantastic place to work and receiving this award makes it all the better.”
