Drivers on the M5 near Wellington and Taunton will have to face lane closures this week.

But motorists will be able to take some solace in the fact that all of them are only expected to cause slight delays, of less than 10 minutes.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining our motorways and major A-roads.

They advise:

• M5, from 8pm January 24 to 6am January 25, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 25 - 26 lane closures for road markings.

• M5, from 9pm January 25 to 6am January 26, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 25 - 26 Taunton Deane services closed for road markings.
