WELLINGTON face back-to-back away games in four days as they look to close the final weeks of the 2021-22 season in positive fashion.

They have drawn their last two fixtures in the Premier Division of the Toolstation Western League having lost the previous four matches.

So manager Tim Legg will be hoping to see those draws turn into wins in the forthcoming games for Wellington.

They travel to face Saltash United today (March 19) and then go to Brislington on Tuesday (March 22) – neither game will be easy.

Wellington are currently down in 14th spot in the 19-team division while Saltash are fifth and Brislington are just below Legg’s men and will be looking to produce a decent finale to the season just as the Tangerines will be hoping to do so.

Wellington know that three-point hauls would make a big difference in their hopes of moving up to a more respectable mid-table season finish.

They have so far drawn five of their ten league fixtures played in 2022 and won just once with that victory coming back on February 5 and a 1-0 success over Keynsham Town.

Wellington are next back at home at North Street when Cadbury Heath, who are struggling at the wrong end of the table, are the visitors in a 3pm kick-off.
