EVERYONE is welcome at the annual seed swap run by Transition Town Wellington’s sustainable food group.

Visitors to the Dolphin pub in Waterloo Road on Sunday (February 12) can see demonstrations of seed sowing and seed saving, and pick up tips on growing vegetables, herbs and flowers.

Free seed packets and possibly free plants will be on offer – give-aways include everything from home-gathered seeds from TTW volunteers’ gardens to Heritage Seed Library seeds.

The group says the event grows each year with more and more people coming back and bringing something interesting to swap. The event is in the pub’s upstairs function room between 2-4pm.
