A WELLINGTON woman has stepped into her father's shoes after being promoted at a Taunton car dealership.

Alice Sharland, 25, started as a Sunday telephonist at Taunton Ford operated by Foray Motor Group, when she was 16 and her father, Martyn was service manager.

She has now been promoted assistant service manager covering Taunton, Bridgwater, Chard, Yeovil.
