SHOWER and bath-tub singers are being encouraged to sing in the Voice of the People Community Choir, which meets in Wellington.

The choir, led by Yvette Staelens and which meets at the The Friends Meeting House on Thursday during term time from 8-9.30pm, is seeking new members. The choir welcomes individuals of all abilities and members do not have to read music.

Yvette is a natural voice practitioner who believes that everyone can sing – she teaches aurally and creates a warm, nurturing environment.

The new term starts on September 1 and the first session is free for new members from Ashbrittle, Stawley, Bathealton, Greenham, Kittiford parishes. The fee is £42 for seven sessions over a term – alternatively the session drop-in fee is £7.50.
