YOUNG Wellington girl Aria Pereira has been going the extra mile for mental health charity Mind.
The four-year-old has run more than the 26-mile distance of a marathon and already raised £200 in the annual Miles for Mind challenge, which has been running this month.
Aria, who lives in Holyoake Street and goes to Bouncy Bear Childcare in Wellington, began with a target of 15 miles in ten days but quickly upped that to a marathon in a month.
Running runs in the family – mum Lizzie Harvey takes part in 5km events and stepdad Dan Pomeroy, who teaches in Tiverton, runs marathons.
