An art exhibition featuring local amateur artists will be held in aid of the Spire Fund at All Saints’ Church, Rockwell Green, on Friday and Saturday, August 16 and 17.

The exhibition is open from 10am-4pm and admission is £4 adults with children free, including tea or coffee. Home-made cakes and scones will be available.

Tickets are now on sale for a barn dance with Stick the Fiddle, a group of three musicians and caller at The Beambridge Inn on September 6 from 7.30pm.

Tickets are £12.50 including supper and are available from The Beambridge Inn, Sampford Arundel; Odette’s Tea Room, Wellington; and Davinia’s Hairstylists, Rockwell Green. The event is also in aid of the Spire Fund.
