Children at St John’s Primary School in Wellington looked forward to the Olympics before breaking up for the summer holiday.

Pupils in Years 3-6 took part

in a samba drumming workshop as part of their Road to Rio

topic.

The children learnt a Brazilian song and samba rhythms on lots of different instruments, which they used in their final performance.
