Police investigation into series of burglaries of homes sees five men in custodySarah was at the school from 1988-93 and studied under Dr Foster. She went on to study music at Cardiff University before starting a career in teaching.
She developed a love of baroque music from an early age and attended ‘Baroque Week’ – a residential chamber music course – for many years.
Through the course she made many friends who now make up the group Mendip Baroque. The group consists of Sarah (soprano), Patrick Welche (baroque flute), Keiko Harada and David Brereton (violins), Carole Dowding (baroque cello) and Peter Collier on harpsichord.
Sarah has since had a change of career and now runs a dairy goat farm in Wookey, near Wells. She lives with her husband and two children but always manages to find time for music.
Mendip Baroque perform on Sunday, February 19, at 3pm.
