SOMERSET Sight, the independent charity for sight-impaired people, is looking to recruit more volunteers for 2016.

It is seeking volunteers for roles including helping blind and partially sighted people take part in activities, supporting the hospital information point in Musgrove Park Hospital and providing one-to-one support to people in their homes.

Becky Fry, the charity’s development officer, said: “All our volunteers are highly appreciated and receive training and full support within our charity.”
