A WWN reader who lives in Aspin Road on the Cades Farm estate sent in this photo of broken glass in a children’s play area.

He said he found the glass on December 30 after being away from home for Christmas and cleared it up himself.

He said: “The play area is busier in the school holidays and broken glass poses a risk to children, older people and pets.

“I suspect it was younger teenagers who left the broken glass – I hope their parents will take action.”
