Faster breast cancer decisions with Somerset trust's self-referral pathwayYear 12 pupil Bryony Steele-Perkins took two exams in July, Grade 8 ballet and Intermediate ballet, and gained a distinction for both.
Intermediate is a vocational exam set apart from the graded exams and taken by dancers at specialist ballet schools.
This is especially valuable as both these exams are worth 20 UCAS points each, so will aid her university applications. She already has a distinction in Grade 6 and Grade 7 ballet, which attract 12 and 16 UCAS points respectively.
