Branch manager Paul Fleming said: “Our charity events are always extremely well supported, so a big thank you to all our customers who supported the fundraising breakfast morning and helped us raise such a fantastic amount of money.”
CHSW is RGB Building Supplies’ chosen charity and the builders’ merchant has run a number of fundraising events this year.
In addition, RGB has recently launched its Christmas present appeal, which invites people in Wellington to donate gifts suitable for children of all ages and their parents.
All presents placed under the Christmas tree in the branch will be donated to families being supported by Children’s Hospice South West over the festive period. The deadline to donate a gift is Friday (December 1).
