MORE than 100 businesses packed Wellington Rugby Club for a business fair on Thursday.

The Make it Your Business event, organised jointly by Wellington Chamber of Commerce and Taunton Deane Borough Council and sponsored by Porter Dodson solicitors has been deemed a success.

Sue White, chairman of the Chamber, said: "The fair was well supported by exhibitors, speakers and especially local businesses."

The event was designed to bring business help and support agencies together in one place so local traders could get the help and advice they needed to set up new businesses or enhance existing ones.

A number of speakers spoke on specific subjects, such as Broadband and its benefits, marketing, tackling employment issues, apprenticeships, the impact of social media and money management.
