From the picture above, can you identify the castle? This flag? That breed of dog?
This is just a sample of the kind of questions that are going to be posed at the Holcombe Rogus Quiz Night at the Village Hall on Friday 24th February.
If fun quizzes are your thing, you could help raise money for the DEC Turkey/Syria Earthquake Appeal and have a terrific evening at the same time.
Quizmaster John McIlwain promises there will be nothing too nerdy about the evening.
He said: "It won't just be your standard general knowledge questions.
"There'll be digital picture rounds, music intros for all ages, a 'mix and match' sheet and famous faces to name, plus a bottle draw and 'Heads and Tails'.
"The aim is for everyone to have an enjoyable and entertaining evening, with every penny raised going towards the earthquake appeal. A lot of people need a lot of help."
The evening is 'Bring your own bottles and glasses'. with doors opening at 7pm for a kick-off at 7.30pm sharp.
Teams can be anything from two to six people. The cost is a bargain £5 per person. Advance booking necessary from John on 01823 672112 or at [email protected].
Answers: The castle is Bamburgh, Northumberland; the flag is of South Africa and the dog is an English Bull terrier.
