AN elderly Wellington cancer patient has told how she fears falling and suffering an injury on her way to receive chemotherapy treatment, because of the way local First buses are driven.

League of friends funds revolutionary spinal surgery system for MusgroveNow, Angela Boyd is calling for better training for bus drivers to prevent the risk of injuries to vulnerable passengers using the 22 and 22A services to Taunton.
Mrs Boyd, 71, of Rockwell Green, has been using the bus to reach her treatment sessions in Musgrove Park Hospital, Taunton, usually alighting in Wellington Road near Somerset College.
But Mrs Boyd said the buses travelled so fast they had to stop sharply to let her off, causing her to be shaken around and at risk of being knocked to the floor.
