NYNEHEAD Court’s activities and volunteer teams have been given an extra boost, with both represented at the finals of the Care Focus Awards 2016.

Activities co-ordinator Annette Cosgrove is a finalist in the Outstanding Ancillary Worker category while volunteer Sheila Rabson is a finalist in the Outstanding Volunteer/Unpaid Carer section. Both will attend the gala event on April 22, when they will find out whether they have scooped the top prize.

Care home manager Angela Watkins said: “We are delighted that Annette and Sheila have been recognised in this way. Their efforts enrich the lives of our residents and we are looking forward to attending the awards dinner with them later this month.”
