POLICE have issued a CCTV still of two females they want to identify and talk to in connection with the theft of a purse and its contents at Waitrose, Wellington, yesterday, August 7.

PC Dwight Shultz, based at Wellington police station, said: "The purse contained £100 in cash and two engagement rings of high value.

"At about 2.37pm the thieves distracted the owner to get into the victim's handbag and remove the purse.

"It is likely the females were walking in and around the town on the day."
