THE Tragedy of King Richard II will be broadcast live to cinemas across the UK and internationally, including the Wellesley in Wellington, from the Almeida Theatre in London on Tuesday as part of National Theatre Live.

King Richard II is arrogant, reckless and vain. His weak leadership sends his kingdom into disarray and his court into uproar. Disinherited and exiled from the kingdom, the ambitious Bolingbroke challenges the throne and the king’s divine right to rule.

The screening starts at 7pm.
