POLICE and Crime Commissioner Sue Mountstevens is inviting questions from the public to put to Chief Constable Andy Marsh in a live video.

The PCC is asking residents to submit questions for a Facebook live video with the Avon and Somerset Chief Constable on Wednesday, November 30, at 3.30pm.

The 30-minute discussion will focus on themes including police officer assaults, domestic abuse, modern slavery and police stations, and will end with a selection of questions that have been submitted.

PCC Mountstevens said: “Our first Facebook live video talking about hate crime, mental health and recruitment was a great success, with the video receiving more than 3,000 views.

“We’ve selected some really timely topics for discussion at our next session and I hope that local people will take the time to once again send us their questions. I want to represent your views in local policing and I can only do that if you tell me what matters most to you.”
