WELLINGTON Library Friends Group is hosting the presentation of certificates at the end of the Children’s Summer Reading Challenge on Saturday.

The Mayor, Cllr Bob Bowrah, is attending to present the certificates. Once again the reading challenge has been popular with local children with more than 300 taking part.

Before that the Friends are joining the Library staff in holding a book sale in the library. This will be from 10.30am-12.30pm. The certificate presentation is at 1pm.

Later in the month the Friends are holding their first evening meeting in their programme of talks planned for the winter and beyond.
