WELLINGTON Arts Association is bringing a wonderful collection of song, dance and readings celebrating Christmas to the Wellesley theatre for the third year running.
The brainchild of Nancy Powell-Brace this event has packed out the theatre for the last two years and she is delighted to be able to bring it together for a third year.
Tickets, with sponsorship from Merlin Theatres and Carly Press, are still just £5, which should enable all those who wish to attend.
This year there is another selection of performers, one or two familiar faces but also many new ones.
Tickets are only available through Odette’s Tearoom in High Street, Wellington, and due to the 100-plus performers taking part, they sell out very quickly.
Christmas at the Wellesley is an indulgent afternoon of pure Christmas and this year it falls on December 1, the first Sunday of Advent, and is a matinee at 2.30pm to make it possible for younger performers to take part.
