Christmas at the Wellesley returns with festive talent showcaseThe money is part of what was raised by last year’s Christmas at the Wellesley event.
It was a particularly special donation as Nancy used to teach Rachel Edge – founding member of the Graveyard Gardeners – GCSE Drama more years ago than either of them care to remember.
The Graveyard Gardeners are a volunteer group who are turning the town’s cemetery into a place of beauty by adopting and caring for graves which have fallen into disrepair.
They can be contacted through Rachel Edge on their Facebook page.
The donation will help them acquire a shed to keep all things gardening safe and dry.
