Local builder Neil Cocking has sourced roofing material in keeping with the heritage and integrity of the building. He has incorporated a damp-proofing system and is treating the timber as it is revealed, making good any issues as he replaces the roof.
The Up on the Roof Fund has benefited from a grant of £8,000 from the Fairfield Trust, private donations and the proceeds of the St Luke’s fete and barbecue held in July.
