WIVEY Action on Climate is hosting a showing of the film This Changes Everything in Wiveliscombe Primary school hall to coincide with the United Nations climate summit.
Action group chairman Patricia Robertson said: “This is not another film that tries to scare its audience into action – it aims to empower.
“This Changes Everything has been inspired by Naomi Klein’s best-selling book and presents seven powerful portraits of communities on the front lines.
The film is interwoven with Klein’s narration, who suggests that we can seize the existential crisis of climate change to transform our failed economic system into something radically better.”
Doors for the screening on Monday, November 23, open at 7pm with tea, coffee and cake served before the film starts at 7.30pm. A short facilitated discussion will be held afterwards on matters raised by the film. Everyone is welcome and entry is £3.
