A FUN-PACKED day for all the family is promised at a Steam Day at Coldharbour Mill on Easter Monday (April 17).
The mill has teamed up with Flotsam the Fool’s Circus to offer visitors of all ages the chance to learn circus skills such as juggling, diablo, poi, plate spinning, hula hooping and much more.
Children can also explore the mill on a free trail and for each completed hunt they get an Easter egg.
For steam enthusiasts, the mill’s steam traction engine friends will be dropping in and joining the steam team who will have the mill engines in steam.
Factory volunteers will be running the spinning machines and looms making luxury knitting yarn and cloth and rugs – all available from the Mill Shop.
Visitors can enjoy a picnic by the leat or in the Mill Café which will serve light refreshments throughout the day.
Coldharbour Mill is open from 10.30am-4pm – last entry 3.30pm. It is just five minutes from Junction 27 of the M5 and ample free parking is available next to the mill.
Coldharbour Mill is one of the country’s finest woollen mills and has been in continual production since 1797.
