STAFF at the Co-op in Wellington went back to the future to promote a new membership card.

They dressed as maids to celebrate the founders of the Co-op movement in Rochdale in 1844.
The card – part of an effort to recruit one million new members – will benefit Wellington Community Centre in White Hart Lane and 1st Wellington Scouts.
Co-op members will receive a 5% reward for any purchases they make of own-brand products and services with a further 1% benefiting local causes.
