BRIDGWATER and Taunton College are celebrating success across A Levels, T Levels, and technical and professional courses, following the release of exam results on Thursday (August 14).
A Level students achieved above the national average, with 23 subjects achieving a 100 per cent pass rate.
Students are celebrating places at leading universities including the University of Bristol, University of Exeter and Cardiff University, while others have secured highly competitive apprenticeships and employment, from Degree Apprenticeships with a Bristol solicitors’ firm to roles in Digital & Technology Solutions with Babcock.
This year’s high fliers included:
· Marcell achieved A*A*A and is going on to study Computer Science at University of Bristol
· Kiera secured A*A*A and has secured Solicitor Degree Apprenticeship in Bristol
· Elissa achieved A*A*B and is taking a Gap year
· Frazer secured A*AB and is going on to study Law at University of Exeter
· Ellie achieved AAC and an A in her EPQ and is off to University of Exeter to study Law
· Belle achieved AAB and is off to University of Salford to study English Multidiscipline
· Toby achieved AAC and an A* in his EPQ and is going to study Physics with Astro-physics at Exeter University
· Anna achieved AAC and is going to study Law at University of Exeter
· Cole achieved AAC and a B in his EPQ and is undertaking a Degree Apprenticeship with Babcock
· Hadley secured ABB and a B in his EPQ and is going to study English Literature and Creative Writing at the University of Gloucestershire
· Lydia-Joy achieved ABB and is off to study Psychology at Bath Spa University.
T Level students have also achieved results success with Early Years, Construction Design, Surveying and Planning, Accounting, Light Vehicle and Software Development securing a 100% pass rate. Construction - Design, Surveying and Planning was a standout success, with 64% of students achieving a distinction.
On completion of their T Levels, many students are stepping directly into careers with local and national employers, taking on roles in areas such as engineering, healthcare, education, and digital technologies. Others have secured places on degree courses at universities across the UK, while a number are progressing to higher-level apprenticeships, combining professional training with paid work.

Students on technical and professional qualifications have also achieved exceptional results this year, with an outstanding 99 per cent of students successfully passing their course, reflecting their dedication, the quality of teaching, and the strong support they receive throughout their studies.
