Community radio station 10Radio at Wiveliscombe is still broadcasting despite the coronavirus emergency.

The studio at The Base, Kingsmead School, has been forced to close for the time being but volunteer presenters are working from home, producing shows featuring popular music and local information.

Presenters would welcome input from listeners, who are invited to email [email protected] – the address is constantly monitored.

The station, which covers the 10 Parishes, recently had its 12th birthday and to celebrate volunteers refurbished the studio while presenters put on their regular shows from ‘Alice’, 10Radio’s outside broadcasting unit.

The studio has been further enhanced by Acoustic Clouds given by Tim Simmons and his team from The Woolly Shepherd, based at Tonedale, Wellington.
