WELLINGTON company DMA Stairlifts has presented a stairlift to a Somerset couple which they won at last year’s Taunton Flower Show.

The DMA Stairlifts stand was run in conjunction with Reminiscence Learning, the Wellington-based dementia charity it has supported for many years.

The draw raised funds towards the charity’s community projects and multi-award-winning inter-generational dementia awareness Archie Project, which links schools and care homes with the aim of reducing the fear and stigma often associated with dementia.

Winners were Mr and Mrs Axle, of Bridgwater, and they were delighted to receive their prize which had been delayed from being installed because of building alterations going on at their home.
