STUDENTS in the Court Fields School, Wellington, Year 7 netball team were delighted to win the CVL tournament to qualify for the School Games finals at Millfield School.

Fire Brigades Union wants people to press MPs to act to stop firefighting budget cutsThey were nervous as the tournament began but once they settled qualified for the semi-finals after completing their pool games.
They beat a good Haygrove School team in the semi-finals with strong netball played by defenders and shooters.
The final against The Castle School saw both teams play fantastic netball with the scoreline 2-2 in the final minute before Castle scored in the last 20 seconds of the match.
Court Fields were disappointed to lose but delighted to have reached the final and have set their sights on returning next year.
A school spokesperson said: “Their teamwork, attitude and enthusiasm was faultless, and we are very proud of their achievements.”
