COURT Fields School in Wellington was excited to welcome a large number of visitors to its annual open evening.

Students and staff from every department were fully involved in demonstrations, talking to parents and children, providing refreshments – and even helping parents and children to solve a crime!

Mrs Matthews was accompanied by students for her presentation in the main hall. A spokesperson for the school said: “There were many positive comments from parents during and after the evening.”

This was followed by a week of open mornings, which gave parents and children an opportunity to look around during school hours and see students learning. The mornings were well attended and the visitors were impressed with what they saw.
