ELAINE Faull, head teacher of Court Fields Community School Wellington, has announced she is to step down at the end of the summer term.

Mrs Faull, a drama teacher, has been head of the 720-pupil school since January 1, 2001. Her last day will be August 31.

She plans to go to the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School as a student of modern acting.
