CHURCHINFORD Cricket Club has presented St Margaret’s Hospice with a cheque for £450, raised from a President’s v Club charity match.

The game played at the cricket club in the Blackdown Hills gained great local support and was attended by local councillor Ross Henley and Somerset Referees Society president Larry Davies.

The score was close, going down to the wire with the President’s 11 winning by two runs.

St Margaret’s Hospice was chosen to benefit from the event in memory of Patricia Fletcher, who spent time at the hospice.
