CLAYHIDON Parish Hall is the venue for the screening of the film ‘The Big Sick’ this Friday (January 19).
It is a true story of how Pakistan-born comedian Kumail Nanjiani and graduate student Emily Gardner fell in love but struggled with her critical illness and a clash of cultures.
Audiences and critics loved it when it was released last year.
Tickets are £6 on the door – or in advance from [email protected] or phone 01823 680607.
Doors open at 7pm and the show starts at 7.30pm. Ice cream, snacks and a licensed bar will be on offer.
