Fire Brigades Union wants people to press MPs to act to stop firefighting budget cutsA spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police said: “We were called at 5.35am this morning (Wednesday) by the ambulance to assist with an ongoing medical incident in High Street, Wellington.
“A man in his 70s was treated by paramedics but died at the scene. His death is not believed to be suspicious and will be referred to the coroner.”
A spokesperson for the ambulance service said: “South Western Ambulance Service responded to a call at around 5.25am about an incident on High Street, Wellington. The caller reported that a person had collapsed while on his bicycle.”
