WHEELBARROW floats, colourful costumes and stunning structures will be on view when Wiveliscombe holds a Roald Dahl-themed carnival procession on Sunday.
The event will run alongside a street market and music the whole day as part of the 10 Parishes Festival.
Townsfolk of all ages and abilities are being invited to grab a wheelbarrow, pram, trolley and rucksack, and get hold of willow, wire, hazel and tissue paper to make a carnival entry.
Organisers say entrants could be inspired by the characters in Dahl’s books – the author would have been 100 next year – and they can be as simple or complicated as desired as ong as they are ’person-powered’.
