LIVE bands, DJs, a hog roast and lots of surprises are in store at a 12-hour ‘Dancer-thon’ fundraiser at the White Hart in Wiveliscombe.

The event in aid of the EHE Rare Cancer Charity UK will see teams of four – at least two of whom must be on the floor at all times – dance the night away.

Dancers will need to collect sponsorship and donations, and prizes are on offer for the team which lasts the longest or raises the most money.

The bands playing at the event, which runs from 7pm on Friday, April 5, to 7am on Saturday, April 6, are Gigface, The Understairs and Engine Room.

EHE is a vascular cancer which affects just one in one million people – event organiser Tamzin Jones had a friend diagnosed with the disease a couple of years ago.
