PUPILS at four local schools put on their dancing shoes to take part in a National School Sport Dance record attempt.

The country-wide event was staged to try to break the world record for the most dancers performing at the same time.

Some 159 Court Fields Community School, Wellington students, plus nine staff took part, along with 141 students and four staff at Kingsmead Community School, Wiveliscombe, 60 students and staff at Wiveliscombe Primary School, and 25 students and staff at Oake, Bradford and Nynehead Primary School.
