JAZZ evenings at the Magelake Pavilion, Uffculme, have become increasingly popular and the latest offering tomorrow Wednesday (May 15) is the Darktown Strutters.

Superb music is promised served with a large helping of the band’s own inimitable entertainment.

The friendly Gordon’s Jazz Club has a comfortable home at the pavilion, where it has been based for 18 months and where music fans can enjoy dancing, a bar and easy parking.

The not-for-profit club, which aims to promote New Orleans and Traditional Jazz, makes a door charge of £7 to cover costs and is held on the third Wednesday of every month.
