DOT Willey, of Wellington, celebrated her 100th birthday with relatives and friends at the White Horse, Bradford-on-Tone, on Thursday evening.
Dot (seated, centre right) has lived in Wellington for more than 65 years after being born in Welling, Kent, one of nine siblings.
After moving to Wellington with her husband George, a Wellington man, and her two children Bruce and Georgina, she started work at Aerosols in 1960 and stayed there until she retired in 1979.
Since then she has stayed active by walking her dog when he was alive. She now enjoys reading, puzzles and crosswords – and the company of her friends and family.
She has been an active member of Millway Chapel in North Street since 1980.
