BEAVERS and leaders from 1st Wellington Scout group say thank you to Simon Ratsey from Brendon Energy 2017 Community Fund.

Simon presented the group with a cheque for £100 to help replace broken chairs in the scout hall.

The hall is regularly used for community activities including Age Concern keep fit, Toddlersense, Weight Watchers, Indian dancing, ‘Moo’ Music’, Tasty Tots cooking class and the craft market.

On top of this it hosts all the scouting sections with more than 100 local children aged six to14 taking part in scouting activities.
