BIG things are going on in the garden at Court Fields Preschool in Wellington after the prescohool was awarded thousands of pounds worth of grants.

Court Fields received £2,804.04 in the latest Co-op community funds round, which it used to install a shelter providing a covered area for children to play under in all weathers. It will also install benches to support reading and literacy, along with a garden chalk board.

Wessex Water has provided a grant of £350 to build raised beds and a greenhouse to promote children’s learning about the environment and to grow produce for the preschool’s cafe.
